OBITUARY TAKEN FROM FAMILY BIBLE:
Mrs. Corbin Dead. A Former Lawrence Woman Dies in Colorado.
C.T.K. Prentice received a telegram this morning from La Junta, Colo, announcing the death of his sister, Mrs. Addie Corbin. Mrs. Corbin was reared in this city. She was known to all of the older citizens, and was a woman highly respected. The body will probably be brought here for burial, as all of her family are buried here.

Married to John Newton Corbin in Lawrence, KS on 11 July 1876. She was a 9th generation descendant of Mayflower Pilgrim John Tilley thru her mother. Family lived thru sacking of Lawrence in Quantrill Raid. Adelaide and John Newton Corbin were the parents of four children who all grew to adulthood. All children have find a grave sites.
