Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2008, at a time pending in La Chapelle de Martin & Castille in Lafayette, for Armance "Mary" Breaux Prejean, 96, who passed away peacefully on Monday, July 14, 2008 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette.Entombment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
Survivors include one son, Lincoln Prejean and his wife Alberta of Lafayette; three grandchildren, Kim Prejean, Dana Beason and Link Prejean; four great grandchildren, Chad Mayer, April Mayer, Blyss Benoit and Hunter Beason; one sister, Hazel Patin of Lafayette; and her devoted companion for 30 years, John Bourque of Carencro.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Avie Prejean; parents, Oneil and Marie Guilbeau Breaux; three brothers, Ignace Breaux, Oneil Breaux, Jr. and Joseph Breaux; and four sisters, Azema Baldwin, Alice Bacque, Armide Racca and Anita Domingue.
A lifelong resident of Lafayette, Mrs. Prejean was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
