Charmaine Janice Pounds was born June 10, 1947 in St. Louis, MO, the fourth of five daughters of Gerald and Dorothy (Ritchey) Fitzgerald. She passed from this life to her eternal life with Jesus on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 in her Owasso, OK home, at the age of 68. She lived in the Tulsa area for over 34 years, the last 8 years in Owasso.

Her marriage to Richard was in its 47th year. But their love started 50 years ago at the wedding of her younger sister and his best friend.

Her 30 year career as Cosmetologist and Woman's Fashion Consultant began in Missouri, continued in Texas and then Oklahoma.Charmaine's life was full of love and always on the go with family, friends, crafts and her paintings. She was so active, her family joked that she would be in motion when this day came. As an artist, her 4th painting was recognized by the Oklahoma state fair with a blue ribbon.

Charmaine is survived by a very loving family that includes her husband Richard, daughter Valerie Pryor & husband Mathew of Skiatook OK, son Brian & wife Judy Pounds of Owasso OK, daughter Dottie Stockton & husband Denzil of Tulsa OK, 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and 3 sisters. Plus numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Preceding Charmaine's passing are her parents and oldest sister Mary Roark.

Visitation will be Monday 11:00 am till 8:00 pm, April 4, 2016.The funeral service will be Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at 2:00pm at Dighton Moore Chapel. Followed by a procession to Graceland Memorial Park, Owasso for a graveside service and interment.

Funeral services have been entrusted to Dighton-Moore Funeral Services of Owasso.
