They say "Behind every successful man, is a strong woman." Erlene was that woman. From humble beginnings in Mississippi, she came to Indiana, where she spent the majority of her time in Greenwood as the personnel director and business manager of a successful insurance company, Brougher Insurance Group, Inc., founded by her husband, Jeff Brougher, in the 1960's.
In the seventies she coached Youth Basketball in Greenwood and a women's softball team. She was an avid Pacer and Colts fan. As a mother, she was a fierce advocate for her children and was interested in all aspects of their lives. She provided the strength that held her family together and she will be missed. She was a great mother.
