Aunt June was an executive secretary to several Generals and travelled extensively wherever they went. She retired from the Army many years ago, finally retiring in California. Aunt June never married. In her final few years, she apparently just 'up and moved' to the "old soldier's home" without telling anyone. By the time we found out where she was, she had passed. She could be very loving, but was sometimes a bit hard to figure out. I think the "sparkle" in her life died when my father died. He seemed to be her 'favorite', and "Sonny could do no wrong".
