Services for Wanda Poore Atha, 69, of Florence, KY were held August 28,at Elliston Stanley Funeral Home in Frankfort, Ky.
She died August 25,1999 at her residence following complications of cancer. Burial took place at Highland Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell, Ky.
A native of Pendleton County, Ky, she was a Baptist and elementary school-teacher with the Boone school district.
Survivors include her stepmother, Pearl Poore, of Williamstown, KY; her husband, William Atha, Sr. of Florence; a son, William Atha, Jr. of Monterey, KY; a daughter, Cheryl Caldwell of Georgetown, KY; a sister, Jewell Martin, of Williamstown; two brothers, Floyd G. Poore and Ralph Poore both of Florence; four grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
She was the daughter of G.J. and Florence Adams Poore.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northern Kentucky.
