MCCONDY - Polly Ann Ponds died Friday, May 14, 2004, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born Sept. 9, 1936, to Aloha Lee and the late Burny Lee. She was a member of Lawson Chapel Church of Christ.
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. today at McCondy Baptist Church. Memorial Funeral Home of Houston is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her husband, Billy Ponds of McCondy; two daughters, Kim Everett and husband, Clayton, of McCondy, and Andra McKeand and husband, Craig, of Peachtree City, Ga.; four sons, Steve Shappley and wife, Beth, of Fulton, Scott Shappley of Jackson, Lee Shappley and wife, Gail, of Fredericksburg, Va., and Roman Ponds of Columbus; 12 grandchildren, Kristen, Jessica, Labriska, Lawrence, Cody, Hunter, Emma, Alisha, Savanna, Austin, Christine and Colby; her mother, Aloha Lee of McCondy; a sister, Nola Cucheran and husband, Bob, of Shelbytownship, Mich.; three brothers, Bob Lee and wife, Freda, of Jacksonville, Fla., Jimmy Lee and wife, Jennifer, of Houston, Texas, and Rick Lee and wife, Lori, of Las Vegas.
She was preceded in death by her father, Burny Lee, and a brother, Ron Lee.
