Raised in Richmond, she loved to travel and visited most all 50 states. She was privileged to dance on Broadway in New York and here in Richmond at the Bill Bojangles Robinson Theater in Church Hill. She had a variety of interests and professions: real estate, interior design, nursing, catering, ending up with the State of Virginia. She had a big heart for rescuing animals, especially her beloved, Kensie E. Kat.
Gladys was also a long time member of Grove Avenue Baptist Church. She is survived by a dear brother and sister in Christ.
