Clayton Harvey Points At Him, age 48, of North Platte, passed away December 21, 2014 at the University of Colorado Hospital in Aurora, CO with his wife, Deb and son, Caleb, by his side.

Clayton was born on May 2, 1966 in Rosebud, SD to Elizabeth (Betty) Points At Him, and was raised by his grandparents, William and Hattie Points At Him. Clayton grew up in the Grass Mountain community on the Rosebud Sioux Indian Reservation. He graduated from Todd County High School in 1984, where he excelled in academics and wrestling. After high school Clayton attended Western Dakota Technical School, graduating in less than 3 years with 2 Electronic Diplomas. He went to work for AT&T while still in school and shortly after graduation was hired by the Federal Aviation Administration. Clayton worked for the FAA for over 27 years. While in high school Clayton met his wife Debra Lehmann. They were married on June 1, 1985. Clayton and Deb were parents to 4 sons.

Clayton enjoyed nothing more than being a father. He was the boy’s soccer coach, softball coach, scout leader, Sunday School teacher, and their biggest supporter. He enjoyed watching his sons play football, run cross country, and track, play their instruments in the band, and sing in the choir. These were the happiest times in his life. Clayton was very close to Deb’s family and their nieces and nephews adored him. He was always ready to play a game, take them to the park, or pull them on the sled. He never told them no! Clayton had a huge heart and was always helping someone whether it was a friend or family. Clayton never met a stranger and visited with anyone when he entered a room. Even on his sickest days the nurses and doctors commented on his bright, big smile.

Clayton is survived by his wife, Deb of North Platte; sons, Dustin of Las Vegas, NV, Kirby (Suzanne) of Wright, WY, Evan (Brittany) of Casper, WY, and Caleb of North Platte. He is also survived by 2 people he treasured most in this world, his grandson, Tyson of Wright, WY and granddaughter, Paige of Casper, WY; father-in-law, Al Lehmann of Rapid City, SD; brothers-in-law, Rob Lehmann and Rick (Michele) Lehmann of Rapid City, SD; sister-in-law, Linda (Greg) Hodgin of Rapid City, SD; nieces and nephews, Josh Lehmann of Arvada, CO, Michele, Lance, Lacey, and Lyle Lehmann, and Natalie DeBeradinis and Ave Wendt all of Rapid City, SD; and his grand nieces and nephews, Alexis and Kylea Becker, Lucah Delsoldato, and Aiden Uhl all of Rapid City, SD.
