She was born May 2, 1918 in Harrison Co., KY a daughter of the late Luther and Naoma McConnell Platt.
Mrs. Ingram was a homemaker, member of the Central Christian Church and a former Thursday Club member.
She was preceded in death by her husband Hiram Eugene Ingram in 1997, brothers Roy, Erman, Cecil, Melvin, and Ottis Platt and her sisters Gertie Layton and Louanne Ingram.
Survivors include her son Lowell (Linda) Ingram, Rixeyville, VA, 4 daughters Lynda (Ron) Mason, Irving, NY, Donna (Ron) Simkins, Urbana, IL, Annell Cheug, San Leandro, CA, Lisa (Earl) Hurst of Cynthiana, 13 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at the Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home, officiated by Bro. Paul Stamper.
Burial will follow the service in the Battle Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 23, 2013 from 5-8 PM at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
