THE LOG CABIN – December 7, 1951 – Frazier Platt, 61, farmer, of the Moorefield Road, died at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday, December 4, 1951, at the Nicholas County Hospital after a short illness. He was a member of the Christian Church and Dougherty Lodge No. 65, F and AM.
Survivors are: his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Sidles Platt; one son, James Platt; two brothers, George Platt, Harrison County, and John P. Platt, Barterville; three sisters, Mrs. Lee Ritchie, Cincinnati, Mrs. Earl Ballinger, Lexington, and Mrs. Elmer Moore, Williamstown; and one grandson.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Mathers-Shearer Chapel, Carlisle, by Rev. J. J. Whitehouse and Rev. E. V. Carrier. Burial will be in the Carlisle Cemetery. Six nephews will be pallbearers.
