Robert Anthony "Bobby" Pitts, 54, of West Ashley, died Saturday morning, Nov. 27, 2010.

He was born in Charleston, SC on November 28, 1956, to the late Joseph L. Pitts, Sr. and Mayme Platt Pitts.

He graduated from Bishop England High School in 1975, and he was employed as the maintenance coordinator at the Mount Pleasant Water Works.

Bobby was a very talented musician and song writer and the ultimate Beatles fan!

He is survived by his devoted mother of Charleston, his beloved daughter, Sarah Lynn Pitts, of Mount Pleasant, and his special friend, Lisa Ferguson, of Charleston. Bobby also leaves behind his brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Virginia Pitts of Kettering, OH, his sister and brother-in-law, Cheryl and Billy Clair of Charleston, as well as several nieces and nephews and their children.

The relatives and friends of Robert A. Pitts are invited to attend his Funeral Service at 10:30 AM, Wednesday, December 1, 2010, at the James A. McAlister Chapel, 1620 Savannah Hwy. Charleston. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the start of the service. The Rite of Committal will be held in Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church at 5 St. Teresa Dr., Charleston, SC 29407 or to St. Andrews Episcopal Church at 440 Whilden St., Mount Pleasant, SC 29464.
