July 9, 1917 -- April 17, 2000
Vera "Irene" Sinks, 82, of Tracy died Monday at Sutter Tracy Community Hospital.
Mrs. Sinks was a native of Grand Falls, Texas. She lived in Tracy from 1968 to 1991, then moved to Aransas, Texas, and returned to Tracy last month.
She is survived by her children, Chappel Sinks and Frona Lore, both of Tracy, and James Sinks of Washington; brother, Ira "Jim Bob" Jeffords of Alaska and M.D. Pittman of Texas; sisters, Beatrice "Monk" Sanders of Oklahoma; and two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
No services. Private burial in Texas. Hotchkiss Mortuary in charge of arrangements.
