Mrs. Wm. Harrison Died Last Thursday
Mrs. William Harrison, 79, a resident of
Greenleaf township for fifty years, died
at her home on Thursday after a long
illness.
The former Miss Margaret Pinkerton was
born June 6, 1865, in Canada and came
to Michiganm when a girl. She was
married to William Harrison of Austin
township, Sanliac county, in December
of 1886. Mr. Harrison died in October
of 1943.
Surviving are a son, Vernon Harrison
at home; eight grandchilren; four
great grandchildren; two brothers,
George Pinkerton of mCaro and Joseph
Pinkerton of Wisconsin; and two
sisters, Mrs. Martha Brandel and Mrs.
Mary Sterver, both of Ohio.
Funeral services were held Sunday
afternoon at two o'clock at the
Douglas Funeral home. The Rev.
George Clink of Brown City and he
Rev. Ralph Herber of the Riverside
Mennonite church officiated.
Burial was in Elkland cemetery.
