Viola P. Eden, 87, Marysville, KS, died Monday, June 4, 1990, at Mary Marshall Manor.
Services were at 2 p.m. June 7th, from Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, Marysville. The Rev. David Meier officiated.
Burial was in the Marysville City Cemetery with arrangements by Kinsley.
Judy York was organist and Jane Sedlacek sang, "How Great Thou Art," "One Day at a Time" and "Going Down the Valley."
Pallbearers were Corey Wapp, Dennis Kracht, Greg Boss, Lowell Behrens, Ed Huddleston and Richard Roever. Honorary pallbearers were Norman Severns, Al Pollman, Arlan Edwards and Howard Behrens.
Viola was born Nov. 24, 1902 at Schroyer, the daughter of George E. and Etta Glenora Schroyer Pilant.
She attended Schroyer and Thomas school districts.
Viola married William T. Eden, Dec. 25, 1939, at the Zion Lutheran Church in Hanover, KS.
She had worked as a cook at the Butler Cafe and Green Top Cafe, worked for the California Perfume Company, Avon Products, sold Stanley Products, worked at the Pacific Hotel and was a bookkeeper for Ashbaugh Garage.
She was a member of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church.
