There is discrepancy in the child's name. The family records show Charles Mac-O-Chee PIATT. Mac-A-Cheek is also a common family name, but associated with the Mac-A-Cheek Castle. Whereas, Mac-O-Chee is the larger Castle and is the one that this baby is associated with. One last piece is that Louisa KIRBY PIATT (and according to a cemetery record copied there) this mother and baby were both moved back to Mac-A-Cheek Cemetery in Logan, OH (near West Liberty).

The certificate does show Macachee PIATT as the name(still doesn't match the family records, though, which show Charles Mac-O-Chee -- perhaps a notation?). The baby was born in May 1848 and died April 1850. The baby was moved to Spring Grove according to this certificate in 1864 - should have been to be with his mother, Louisa KIRBY PIATT, who died in October 1864. Then both were moved from there to Mac-A-Cheek Cemetery in 1884. -- this record defnitely has the cemetery named spelt incorrectly also as Macachee.
