Benton, Ky. - Funeral services for William Jefferson Phillips, 75, who died Friday at his home on Paducah Route 4, will be held at 3 p.m. today at the Symsonia Methodist church. Burial will be in New Harmony cemetery. The son of William and Elizabeth Barnes Phillips. Cause of death: lobar pneumonia following a cold. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Grace Phillips; six daughters, Mrs. Lilly Roundtree, Mrs. Bessie Waldron, Mrs. Dola Norman, Mrs. Mary Byerley, Mrs. Sylvia Thweatt and Miss Pearlie Phillips; four brothers, George, Henry, Clarence and Jack Phillips, and two sisters, Mrs. Rosa Henson and Miss Myrtie Phillips
