Syracuse Herald - Jan 24, 1988 - Cortland - Cleda G. Weber, 88, of 42 Church St., died Saturday at Cortland Memorial Hospital. She was born in Taylor and lived most of her life in the area. She was a retired licensed practical nurse and a former owner of a nursing home in Locke. She was a member of the Cortland Senior Citizens and the Four Score Club. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Cortland for 68 years. Two husbands died before her, Lloyd Kuykendall in 1923 and William Weber in 1947. Surviving are a daughter and son-in -law, Mary and Lon Van Ostrand of Freeville; a daughter, Ima G. Scott of Orlando Fla.; a brother, Leonard Phillips of Cortland; a sister Eva Ripley of Homer; six grandchildren; two step- grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 10 am Tuesday at Perkins Funeral Home with pastor Werner Stavenhager of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Burial will be in Lincklaen Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Friends may call from 7 to 9 pm Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, Upstate New York Chapter, 5575 Thompson Rd.
