Mrs. Amanda Phillips, 77, Asbury Center, formerly of 1960 Dave Buck Road, died Sunday, Oct. 27, 1996, following a lengthy illness.
She was a Bluff City native and a daughter of the late William and Vergie Mayes Morrell.
Mrs. Phillips was a charter member of the Harbor Light Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Dayton J. Phillips; one daughter, Sharon Whaley Dye, Gray; and two granddaughters, Anna Whaley and Amanda Whaley, both of Gray.
