Funeral services for Mrs Iva Hepler, 79, mother of Mrs Robert Bechtel here, will be held at 2 pm Thursday at the Yoder-Culp funeral home in Goshen. She died Monday evening at the Goshen Hospital.

The Rev William Heimach of Auburn, formerly of Nappanee, will officiate, and burial will be in Rice Cemetery, Elkhart. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Nappanee.

Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Wednesday.

Mrs Hepler was born March 10, 1886, in Kosciusko county. She lived most of her life in Nappanee but had spent the last seven years in Goshen. Her residence there was 307 W Plymouth Ave.

She married Frank A Wehrly in July, 1905. He died Nov 9, 1943.

Her marriage to Chauncey Hepler took place Nov 16, 1958.

Survivors include the husband; a daughter, Mrs Robert (Evelyn) Bechtel; a son, Harry L Wehrly of Midland, Mich; three step-daughters, Mrs Claude Gardner of Sarasota, Fla, Mrs Sam Huffman of Sacramento, Calif, and Mrs Glen Eisenhower of New Paris; nine grandchildren, six step-grandchildren; nine step-great-grandchildren; three brothers and a sister, Harry Phend of Milford, and Waldo Phend, Delvin Phend and Mrs Al Miller, all of Wellman, Ia.
