Ina was the wife of Harry Phelps and was 53 years of age when she died of heart trouble and peritonitis according to her Missouri Death Certificate.

END COMES AT MORGAN HEIGHTS HOME
WAS CRITICALLY SICK ONLY ONE WEEK - HUSBAND AND TWO CHILDREN SURVIVE


Mrs. Charles Phelps, of Morgan Heights, died at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon after an illness of about a week. She was 53 years old, and her death was due to ta general breakdown.
She had been in failing health for some time. Last week she became critically ill.
Mr. and Mrs. Phelps had resided in Carthage about 30 years. The family is one of the best known in the county. The surviving relatives are the husband, a daughter, Mrs. H. L. Dillard and a son, Harry Phelps, both of this city.
Three brothers, all of whom reside in the state of New York, also survive.
Mr. and Mrs. Phelps came here from Hinsdale, New York. Mrs. Phelps was Miss Ina Burlingame before her marriage. Her family was one of the best known of Hinsdale, where they had lived for many years. Mr. Phelps is state oil inspector.

Mrs. Phelps was a member of the Christian Science Church

Many Attend Funeral Held at Family Residence at Morgan Heights


Funeral services for Mrs. Charles Phelps, who died Monday afternoon at the Phelps home at Morgan Heights, were conducted at the home. A large number of people were present. The number of floral offerings was large.

Mrs. John Blackeney, a Christian Science reader, conducted the rites. Miss Ruth Stemmons sang.
Burial was in Park Cemetery.
