Lena D. Pfeil Alber, 83, of Kenesaw died Sunday at the Haven Home in Kenesaw.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Faith Lutheran Church in Hastings with the Rev. Carl Rehwaldt officiating. Burial will be in the Doniphan Cemetery.

Mrs. Alber was born Feb 5, 1906, near Juniata. She attended District 32 and parochial schools.

On Oct. 22, 1924, she married Albert Alber at her home near Juniata. They farmed in the Doniphan area until they moved to Hastings in 1955. Mr. Alber died in 1957.

She was a member of Faith Lutheran Women's Missionary League.
Survivors are two daughters, Ronda Lee Bierman of Hastings and Donna Rae Buehner of Littleton. Colo., two brothers, Harmon Pfeil of Hastings and Frederick Pfeil of Doniphan. eight grandchildren; and five great-grand children.

Memorials may be given to the Faith Lutheran Church Memorial Fund.
