Christie Petre went to be with the Lord after a courageous battle with cancer.
Christie Marie was 32. She lived in Davenport. She died Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2000, at Genesis Medical Center-West Campus, Davenport.
Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Weerts Funeral Home, Davenport. Visitation is noon to 1 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park.
Christie was born Jan. 6. 1968, in Davenport, to Marvin Mark and Judy Kay (Leek) Petre.
She was a member of Quint City Baptist Temple and TY Beanie Baby Club.
Her hobbies were computers, cats and crafts. Christie loved her cats, Peaches and Matilda, and will be missed by them. She loved her family and spent her time doing special things for them.
Memorials may be made to the family.
Survivors include her father and mother, Marvin and Judy Petre, Davenport; brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Jill Petre, Davenport, and Steven and Chastity Petre, Davenport; nieces, Andrea and Sarah Petre, Davenport, and Jamie Weller, of Florida; a nephew, Shane Petre, Davenport; and her grandmother, Opal Kindelsperger, Bettendorf.
