Born April 15, 1935 in Wharton, Texas to the late Gillie and Lena (née Bracy) Peters, and their only daughter. She moved to California when she was 15 yrs. old and was reared in Sacramento, CA by her maternal aunt Josie Johnson. She graduated from Sacramento Senior High in 1953.
In 1955 she married Fred H. Andrews Sr. To this union 5 children were born. She is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers: Robert and Herman Peters.
She departed this life on November 30, 2004. She leaves to cherish her memories: four sons Fred Andrews Jr. (Jakki) of Richmond, Texas; Mario Andrews Sr. Of Oakland, CA; Angelo Andrews of Richmond, CA, Calvin Andrews (Kacy) of Hercules, CA. Two grandsons: Mario Andrews Jr., and Calvin Killian Marcellus Andrews; one brother Donald R. Peters Sr., of Elk Grove, CA; four nieces, one nephew and a host of other relatives and friends.
