She was born November 1, 1966, in Flora, and was united in marriage to Rodney D. Persinger on August 1, 1987, and they have shared 29 anniversaries together.
Tina was lovely and kindhearted, a caring wife and mom, and adored spending time with her grandkids. She leaves a lifetime of good family memories, with some of the best spent in the outdoors at the lake, around a bonfire, riding horses and fishing, and enjoying music. She had worked at U.S. Bank in Flora for nearly 11 years and later at AutoZone. Although cancer and ALS took a toll on her physical body, Tina's courage and passion within her heart and soul will remain in the embrace of her family and friends always.
She is survived by her husband: Rodney Persinger; her mother: Joy (McGivney) Boston and special friend, Junior Goff; two daughters: Jessica Rothrock and husband Mitch and Amber Brown and husband Dustin; three grandchildren: Aiden, Alexis, and Brycen Rothrock; two sisters: Tammy Hays and Debra Murphy; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a maternal grandmother: Jackie McGivney; her Grandma Grace; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service to celebrate the life of Tina Persinger will be 1 p.m. Thursday, March 23, 2017, at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora.
Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
Memorial donations are suggested to the donor's choice of a Love Fund for the family, the ALS Association, or Clay County Hospice.
