Mrs. Calkins Dead.
Mrs. E.J. Calkins, of East Bolton township, who has for some months been suffering with a cystic tumor, died yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. A.B. Clark, near Perkins, O.T., where she has been for the past few weeks. The remains will be brought here for burial, and the funeral services will be held at Mt. Zion church tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock, with interment in Mercer cemetery. All friends of the family invited. Before her marriage to M.R. Calkins, a few years ago her name was Bowen, and she was known to all the old settlers of Southern Cowley. She was the mother of Lewis and Chileon Bowen, Mrs. Rinaldo Carlisle, Mrs. A.B. Clark and Mrs. Lingenfelt. The sons are on the Pacific coast, but the three daughters reside in Oklahoma.
