Virginia Lea Bailey, daughter of Clifford & Jessie (Shouse) Bailey, was born 1 Feb. 1942 in Cook co., IL. She died 3 Mar. 2012, at her home near Clinton. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Shandy Bailey Jr.; a sons, Clifford (Peggy) Bailey & Marion (Annette) Bailey; daughter, Jettie Bailey all of Clinton; 2 grandchildren. Virginia loved her family, friends & her little dog, Shorty. She had an infectious laugh & loved to sew, cook & bake. She was quite famous for her breads & sugar cookies. She retired from Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare, but continued as a volunteer. Ginger was a member of Allen Street Baptist Church in Clinton, Eastern Star, Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare Auxiliary, a lifetime member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 1894, all in Clinton. Ginger was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford & Jessie Periman, as well as her identical twin sister, Jessie Southers & younger sister, Vivian Bransetter. She will sorely be missed by all who knew her. Funeral services were held at Vansant-Mills Chapel on Wed. 7 Mar. Interment was in Clinton Memorial Garden Cemetery in Clinton.
