PEPIN, Polly Virginia, 87, passed peacefully at her home on August 16, 2012, surrounded by her loving family and friends. Polly was born in Westport, NY on August 3, 1925, to Clyde and Dorothy Pooler. She graduated from Westport High School and Albany Business School. In 1949, she married the man that knocked her off her feet and into a snow bank. For the next 50 years, Polly and her "King of Beers", Art Pepin, raised a family of four and built Pepin Distributing doing what they do best, making friends. They were icons in our community and helped raise places such as Pepin Heart Center, Pepin Academies and Pepin-Rood stadium. Just as they opened their home and their hearts here with us, we are sure that Polly is now busy decorating Heaven's hospitality house in Budweiser accessories. Reunited again, Heaven won't be the same once Art and Polly start organizing the social calendars. Polly is survived by her sister, Joan Card; and brother-in-law, Eddie Card; her four children, Pam Pepin, Tom Pepin and his wife Lauren, Jill Pepin and her husband, Tim, J. Paul Pepin and his wife Patsy; and 10 grandchildren, P.J Bass, Aarin Bass, Alexandra Pepin, Cassandra Pepin, Isabella Pepin, Christina Pepin, Greg Smith, Tanner Pepin, Sydney Pepin and Colten Pepin. The family will receive friends at a celebration of Polly's life on Saturday August 25th at the T. Pepin's Hospitality Centre from 11:30am to 3:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Pepin Heart Institute, 3100 E. Fletcher Ave., Tampa, Florida 33613, Pepin Academies, 3916 E. Hillsborough Ave., Tampa, Florida 33647, or to Everyday Blessings, 13129 St. Francis Lane, Thonotosassa, Florida 33592 in memory of Polly V. Pepin. JGR Funeral Home
