Vrena "Penny" Pennington 65, of Lizton, IN, died Sunday, May 9, 2004 at her home. She was born May 29, 1938 in Dunnville, KY, daughter of the late Thomas Clements and Sarah Clements.

She was a member of St. Augustine Episcopal Church, Danville, IN; the Advance Conservation Club; and Lizton Lions Club. She was a cook and cashier at Liz's Country Cafe, Blue & White and Flying J.

Friends will be received from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, May 11 at the Porter Funeral Home, Inc., Jamestown. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 12 at the funeral home, with Ron Masters, officiating. Interment will follow in the Lizton K of P Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Heartland Hospice, 931 E. 86th St., Suite 208, Indianapolis, IN 46240 -or to the American Cancer Society.
