BOSSIER CITY, LA - Our beloved mother and grandmother, age 90, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 3, 2011. Aline Cleo Peeples was born April 13, 1921 in Hinesville, GA. She married Earl W. Robinson in 1938 and was a wife, mother and devoted member of North Jacksonville Baptist Church in Jacksonville, FL from 1961 until 1999, when she moved to Bossier City, LA to be near her daughter.
She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 63 years, Earl W. Robinson, Sr.; son, Earl W. Robinson, Jr.; brothers, Lemuial Peeples and Hartford Peeples and sisters, Evelyn Jones and Thelma Jones.
Survivors include a son, Arthur Peeples Robinson and wife Wendy of Australia; daughter, Sandra Robinson Alexander and husband Robert of Bossier City, LA; nine grandchildren; several great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 7, 2011 from 1 to 2 p.m. at George H. Hewell and Son Northside Funeral Home in Jacksonville, FL. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. in the chapel with Dr. Herb Reavis, Jr. officiating. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery immediately after the service.
