In Loving Memory

Ellis Reeves Buck and Helen Frances Pearson fell in love and were married on July 20, 1912 on Saturday at Christ Church, New Brighten, Staten Island, New York.

A few years after World War ll ended, in 1950, Ellis retired, and they relocated to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. They were always very close to Arthur "Art" Richard Pearson, Helen's brother, and his wife Lee Pearson who moved to Fort Lauderdale sometime after Art returned home when World War 11 ended. There was lots of love and laughter and joy between the two families. Helen was vivacious and caring. She loved people, and was was loved in return by their friends. Like other Americans they just wanted to have peaceful and happy lives with their loved ones.

Ellis and Helen were well suited. They were happily married for 47 years until Eliis died.

In the early 1990s some of Helen's contemporaries, close friends of hers were reminiscing about her. Mostly in their mid 80s, they would mention Helen's great parties, her friendship, and how much she was missed.
