DEXTER - Madeline D. Anderson, 83, passed away April 19, 2005, at a Dexter healthcare facility with her daughter, Lorinda; and grandchildren, Megan and Tyler, at her side. She was born June 30, 1921, in Dexter, the daughter of Leon Sr. and Lorina (Awalt) Pearl. She attended local schools and graduated from N.H. Fay High School. She had been employed in area woolen mills and retired from Dexter Shoe Co.

She was predeceased by her husband, Anton D. Anderson; a brother, Leon "Fuzzy" Pearl Jr. of Georgia; a sister, Geraldine "Jerry" Hughes of Phippsburg.

She is survived by her four daughters, Lorinda and husband, Allen Clukey, of Garland, Dottie Perkins and her companion, Wade Canney, Sharon and husband, Ed Washburn, of Milo, Judy and husband, Larry Robichaud of Dexter; six grandchildren, Megan and Tyler Clukey, Cherie and Brian Perkins, Todd and Shaun Washburn; one great-grandson, Jacob Washburn; three sisters, Evelyn Moulton of Sangerville, Phyllis Nelson of Corinna, Irene Nelson of Dexter; a brother, Maurice "Randy" Pearl of Georgia.
At her request, there will be no public services. Interment will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Dexter. (Bangor Daily News 4/21/2005)
