Winnie grew up in Davenport and Graduated from Davenport High School in 1961. She loved all crafting including quilting, knitting, painting, ceramics, and making jewelry. She was a lifetime member of the Community in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
She was preceded in by her parents, Alva and Dorothy; sisters, Reada Thompson, Modenia Shoffet, and Betty Jean Aldridge. Survivors include her husband of nearly 48 years, Chuck Payton of the home; children, Shelia and her husband Bill Chowning of Davenport, Brian and his wife Kim Payton of Chandler; (6) grandchildren, Randy Krull, Jaci Chowning, Blake Chowning, Cody Payton, Marrissa Payton, Kandi Payton; (1) great-grandchild, Kaden Payton; sibling, Pete (A.M.) Hutchinson, Freda Howard, Arthur Hutchinson, Raymond Hutchinson, Linda Ding, Caroline Bromlow, Walter Hutchinson, David Hutchinson; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday at the Lehman Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in the Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
