She was born Dec. 16, 1936, in Knox County, Tenn., the daughter of Carl Uzell Patty and Rubye Agnes White Patty.
Mrs. Febbo retired from Martin Marietta Energy Systems, Y-12, where she was a senior administrative assistant.
She attended Central Baptist Church and was a member of the Powell chapters of Amaranth and Order of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Febbo was an avid gardener. She also enjoyed crocheting, knitting and ceramics.
She is survived by her son, Mark Febbo and wife, Naomi, of Punta Gorda, Fla.; daughters, Maria Febbo-Hunt and husband, Rick Hunt, of Cary, N.C., and Regina Febbo and significant other, Nathan Frasier, of Cookeville; step-daughters, Linda Rodgers and husband, Dr. Larry Rodgers, of Knoxville, and Paula Ka'alele of Waimanalo, Hawaii; sisters, Carlene Scholtz and husband, Dennis, of Show Low, Ariz., and Willistine Strandquist and husband, Carl, of Lakeside, Ariz.; 14 grandchildren, Sophie Febbo, Huck Febbo, Roxann Febbo, Isabella Febbo and Rocco Febbo of Florida, Kinnamon Hunt and Maewyn Hunt of North Carolina, Seth Frasier of Tennessee, Bronce Rodgers, Spencer Rodgers and Lauren Dishner of Knoxville, and Mahea Lani Carlbom, Keoki Ka'alele and Loke Lani Ka'alele, all of Hawaii; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are Thursday, May 3, 2007, at 8 p.m. at Weatherford Mortuary with the Rev. Glenn Ellis officiating. Graveside services are Friday at 11 a.m. at Oak Ridge Memorial Park. The family asks that any memorials be in the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Weatherford Mortuary.
