Freddie Mae Turner, born Dec. 23, 1914, passed away Sunday, Nov. 14, 2010, at 5:48 a.m. in Tuscon, Ariz.
She was born in Bernnie, La., to John Elliot and Elena Pastor. She met her husband and they were married Sept. 14, 1936. They were married for 74 years. They have seven children, 26 grandchildren, a lot of great-grandchildren and a lot of great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceeded in death by her son Cecil Lee Turner Jr. and his wife, Alice Faye Turner; her son Freddy Eugene Turner; her grandson Jules Ray Turner; and her daughter-in-law Sheila Marie Turner.
Freddie is survived by her sons James Earl Turner and his wife, Kathline Turner, of Tucson, Lenard Turner, of Alamogordo, and Bruce Edward Turner, of Tucson; and her two daughters, Johnnie Ruth and her husband, John Patterson, of Panama City, Fla.; and Brenda Joyce Turner, of Alamogordo.
The Turner family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Funeraria Del Angel, South Lawn, 5401 South Park Avenue, Tuscon, AZ 85706.
