Columbus, NC - Helen Parton Case died on Tuesday, Nov. 10, 1987. Native of Haywood County, NC and widow of Virgil Luther Case. Daughter of the late Charlie R. and Coreen McEntire Parton and member of the Columbus First Baptist Church. Survivors included: three sons, Marion, Roy and Charles Case; six daughters, Mrs. J. T. Hutcherson, Mrs. Roy Greene, Mrs. Nicholas Ross, Mrs. Larry Stott, Mrs. Jerry Ross, and Mrs. Buford Allman; one brother, Charlie Parton, Jr; 34 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. She was 80 years of age at demise and interment was in the Columbus First Baptist Church Cemetery.
