Age 91, of Millcreek Township, died one day before her 92nd birthday. She was the daughter of the late Albert L. and Emma Reimer Parrish. A graduate of Lawrence Park High School, she had worked in the office at General Electric prior to being married, and at the family business, Plastics 2000, prior to her retirement. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, where she served on the Altar Guild.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Byrd; a son, Richard W. Byrd; two sisters, Alice Aldrich (1902-1993, Los Angeles County, CA) (Orville) and Virginia Hewitt (d 21 Jan 1993); and four brothers, Otto Parrish, Henry Parrish, Carl Parrish, and Robert Parrish.
She is survived by a daughter, Carol A. Ketchel, and her husband, Gordon, of Erie; two sons, Robert E. Byrd and his wife, Barbara, of Burlington, N.C., and Randolph A. Byrd of Charlottesville, Va. She is further survived by 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
