MRS. CORA E. ELLIS, 80, DIES AT EDINA HOME

Ill For Several Months; Funeral Tuesday Afternoon

Mrs. Pearl (Cora Ellen) Ellis, 80, died at 7:30 a.m. yesterday in her home at Edina following an illness of several months.

The daughter of William Henry and Cordelia Ann (Davis) Parrish, she was born on March 22, 1877, in Knox county.

She was married to John Coffey at Knox City on November 8, 1908. He died on July 21, 1940. Two children of this marriage also preceded her in death. On March 31, 1945, she was married to Pearl Ellis in Burlington, Ia., who survives.

Other survivors include a foster sister, Mrs. Alice Goodwin, Burlington, Ia., a brother, Edgar Parrish, Rutledge; three stepsons and one stepdaughter. She was a member of the Pleasant Ridge Baptist church.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Hudson Funeral Home in Edina conducted by the Rev. Earl Woodard, Bulington, Ia. Burial will be in the Linville cemetery.
