Mrs. Catherine Biddle of Warriors Mark, died at 12:30pm Sunday in the Tyrone Hospital after a one-month illness.
She was Born July 2, 1894, at Six Mile Run, Bedford County, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John L. Parks, and on Feb. 16, 1912, at Six Mile Run, married Paul Biddle, who died in 1963. Surviving are 10 sons, Harold of Trafford, William of Clarence NY, Cloyd of Long Beach, Calif., Paul L. of Dayton, Ohio, Fred of Fort Benning, GA., Clifford of Fort Knox, Ky, Raymond of Tyrone, Harry W. of Los Angeles, Calif., and John D. and George of Warriors Mark; five daughters, Mrs. Vera Gardner of Tyrone, Mrs. Mildred Haag of Baltimore Md., Mrs. Betty McVey of Long Beach, Calif., Mrs. Josephine Hamilton of Huntingdon and Mrs. Phyllis Cunningham of Warriors Mark; 35 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, three brothers, Elmer and Raymond of Huntingdon and James of Mapleton, and one sister Ruby of Huntingdon. She was a member of the Warriors Mark Methodist Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Warriors Mark Fire Company. Friends will be received at the Cox Funeral Home, Warriors Mark, after 7 pm today until time of services Wednesday.
