Maude Eliza Parker married Earl E. Innis on June 17, 1927, on her 15th birthday. She was my great-grandmother. I share my anniversary with my great-grandmother's anniversary and birthday, June 17th. I was 13 or so when she died, and my greatest memories of my great-grandmother are that she used to sit out on her old cement porch in the early evening. We sat outside with her a lot and listened to the locusts and watched while she swatted flies.
