"Grammy" was born June 24, 1909, on her parents's Cow House Creek ranch in Coryell County. She graduated from Gatesville High School where she played basketball. She loved telling how many miles she rode horseback, how many gates she had to open to get to school, never missing a day. At 16, Thelma moved to Fort Worth, attending and graduating from business college. She married Cletus Feazell on Dec. 3, 1932, in Marietta, Okla. Together they owned and operated several restaurants and a dairy farm in Tolar. Thelma also worked in the Hood County District Attorney's office. After many years, she retired from Dun and Bradstreet and with her second husband, settled back in Granbury in 1972. "Gram's" wisdom and kindness brought her four generations of loving family and friends; the days will be less bright without her.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Cletus C. Feazell, in 1959; Mr. Wilkerson, in 1985; son, Parker W. Feazell, in 1990; grandson; J.C. "Tad" Feazell, in 1993; parents, Riley Parker in 1956 and Minnie Fritz Parker, in 1964; and four brothers, Paris, Herman, Aubrey and Otis.
Survivors: Son, C.R. "Ron" Feazell and his wife, Mary, of Arlington; daughter-in-law, Laverne Feazell of Burleson; grandchildren, C. Tod Feazell and his wife, Tina, of Mansfield, Paula Hatley and her husband, Robert, of Dallas and Robert "Bob" Feazell of Arlington; great-grandchildren, Clay and Cody Feazell of Mansfield, Colton and Paige Feazell of Arlington; foster son, Fred Ingerson of Granbury; sisters, Mrs. Eva Kennard of Temple, Mrs. Earlene Baker of Kerrville, Mrs. Odessa Riley of San Diego, Calif.; sister-in-law, Mrs. Luna May Parker of Waco; and many nieces and nephews.
