ADDIE WHITLOW PARKER

Addie Whitlow Parker, daughter of the late Napoleon E. and
Lizzie Vaughn Whitlow, was born March 2, 1904 in Hart County, KY and departed this life at 6:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 31, 1984 at the Jane Todd Crawford Memorial Hospital in Greensburg, KY. She was 79 years, 10 months and 29 days of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was an active member of the Aetna Grove Baptist Church at the time of her death.

Mrs. Parker was an owner and operator of a store in Hudgins, KY for several years.

She united in marriage to Harvey L. Parker on May 24, 1925 who preceded her in death on May 8, 1952. To this union was born one son, Neuman Parker of Star Route, Summersville, KY.

She is survived by three sisters and one brother: Lola Clark, Summersville, KY; Dolly Vance, Hodgenville, KY; Vera Nelson, Glasgow, KY; and Ellis Whitlow of Summersville, KY.

Also surviving is one granddaughter, Rita Milby of Star Route, Greensburg, KY, along with two great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

The remains were at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home.

Funeral services were conducted at the Aetna Grove Baptist Church Thursday, February 2, 1984 at 1:00 p.m. with burial in the Aetna Grove Cemetery. Rev. Randy Smith officiated.

Pallbearers were Dowen Quisenberry, Kenneth Hall, Winford Berry, Marvin Vaughn, Jerry Quisenberry and Clarence Gardner.
