Claude Jean Parent of Newnan passed away Thursday, July 15, 2010 at M.D. Anderson Hospital, Houston, Texas
He is survived by his wife, Johanne Parent of Newnan; daughter, Maryeve Mims of Newnan; sons, Guillaume Parent and wife Nichelle of Newnan, Olivier Parent and wife Holli of Newnan; sister, Gisele Marquis and husband Paul of Salisbury, N.C.; brothers, Michel Parent, Oscar Parent, Jacques Parent and wife Diane, Rene Parent and wife Carmen all of Montreal, Quebec, Canada, Roger Parent of Val D'Or, Quebec, Canada; grandchildren, Eliza Mims and Caden Mims, both of Newnan.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 21, 2010, at 11 a.m. at Trinity Fellowship Church, 8817 Hwy 54 West, Sharpsburg, GA 30277 with remains placed in state at 10 a.m. Pastor Mark Anthony will officiate.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Parrott Funeral Home and Crematory in Fairburn.
