Antoinette J. Graziano, 92, a resident of the Chautauqua County Home, formerly of Fairview Avenue, both in Dunkirk, died Thursday morning (Sept. 1, 2011) at the home. She was born Nov. 5, 1918 in Dunkirk, the daughter of the late Dominic and Josephine (Pagano)
Valvo. A lifelong resident of Dunkirk, Mrs. Graziano was a homemaker and former manager of the Cardinal Mindszenty and St.
Mary's cafeterias. She was an active member of Holy Trinity Church where she was a Eucharistic Minister and Home Minister to the Sick.
She also was a member of the parish's Bishop's Committee, Blessed Sacrament Society, Women's Guild, Liturgy Committee,
Bereavement Committee, 1200 Club, Bingo Captain, Catholic Charities and was a charter member and past president of the Holy Trinity Senior Center. In addition, she was a member of the Dunkirk Federated Senior Citizens, a charter member and past president of the Frank Acquavia Auxiliary American Legion Post 1344 and a 25-year volunteer with Meals on Wheels. She enjoyed playing cards, bowling, bingo, traveling and telling jokes. Survivors include three sons, Kenneth (Jan) Graziano of Cardiff-by-the-Sea, Calif., Larry (Mary Ann)
Graziano of Orchard Park, NY and Mick (Sue) Graziano of Fredonia; several grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Graziano, who died July 29, 1995; three brothers, Russel Valvo, Joseph Valvo
and Thomas Valvo; and one sister, Rose Yerico.
