Fannie Pagano Ippolito, 92, departed into her heavenly home to be with her Lord and Saviour after a brief illness. Finally, she is united with her loving husband, Thomas A. Ippolito, who predeceased her in April, 2008. Since July 2009, Fannie lived at Loretto's Heritage Apts. She was very well taken care of and had the best days since the death of her husband. We, the family, refer to this time at Heritage as her "miracle journey" from this life to the Promised Land. Surviving are her sister, Mary "Tina" Bastone; her daughters, Rosemary (Salvatore) Mariano of Syracuse and Gloria Christian of Franklin, MA; her sons, John (Shirley) Ippolito of Baldwinsville, and Anthony (Tricia) Ippolito of Liverpool; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. Calling hour will be at First Christian Assembly, 705 Hamilton St., 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 5, 2009, followed by a memorial service with the Rev. Ron Warne officiating. Private burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Warners. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Thomas and Fannie Memorial Fund, First Christian Assembly, 705 Hamilton St., Syracuse, NY 13204. Contributions may also be made to ECHO Meals on Wheels, 4600 West Genesee St., Syracuse, NY 13219.
