Marie N. Burton, passed away on Sunday, August 26, 2012. Marie was born in Las Vegas, New Mexico on October 12, 1935, to Carlos and Corine Padilla. Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Burton. Marie is survived by her son, Rick Burton and his wife, Linda, grandchildren Chris Burton and his wife, Dalila, Julian Burton and Robert Burton, great-granddaughter, Larissa Marie Burton, sisters, Dora Jaramillo, Carmen Gallegos, Josie Lamberti, Ida O'Guinn and her partner, Ed, Mary Lou C de Baca and her husband, Bobby, Mary Alice Williams and her husband, Roger and Cecilia Landholm and her husband, Richard, and many extended family and friends. Rosary to be recited on Thursday, August 30, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Ghost Catholic Church with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:00 a.m. also at Holy Ghost Catholic Church. Celebrant Father Mark Schultz. Burial will take place following service at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chris Burton, Julian Burton, Roger Williams, Bobby C de Baca, Richard Landholm and Ed Gailbreath. Honorary pallbearer is Robert Burton. In lieu of flowers donations may be given in Marie's honor to Holy Ghost Religious Education.
