Obituary

Emma Myrtle Anderson, 99, Washington, D.C., died Wednesday evening at the Washington House, Alexandria, VA.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at McLaughlin Scudiero Funeral Home, Marceline. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Marceline. The family will receive friends from 2p.m. to 4p.m. and 7p.m. to 9p.m. Sunday.

Emma Myrtle was born October 10, 1883 at Hydrid, MO., the daughter of John W. and Arminta Ann Kelly Pace.

On Jan. 6, 1907 in Hybrid, she married Willie Anderson, who died in 1929.

She is survived by two sons, W. Clifford of Tulsa, Okla. ; Robert W. of Benedict, Md.; two daughters, Bernice L. Burgener, Phoenix, Ariz.; Opal A. Shelton, Falls Church, Va.; a brother, Thomase Pace, California; nine grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Neomi Anderson and Myrtle F. Medlin; two sons, J. Raymond and Gerald O.; a granddaughter, Peggy J Adamson.

Mrs. Anderson had lived in the Washington, D.C. area for 34 years. She was a member of the Baptist Church of Brookfield.
