She is survived by her husband of 60 years, E. O. Brazel of Reidsville; two daughters, Kathy Wilson of Reidsville and Melissa (Tommy) Hulett of Lyons; four sons: Ed Brazel, Jr., of Lyons; Raymond James Brazel of Collins; Richard (Connie) Brazel of Rutledge, Georgia; and John Brazel of Frankfort, Kentucky; one brother, Raymond Owens of Pittman, New Jersey; one granddaughter, Leary Brazel of Co. Mayo, Ireland; six grandsons: David and Christopher Brazel, Justin Stanfield, and Casey, Nick, and Alex Hulett; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 21, in the chapel of Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home, with the Rev. David Moxley and the Rev. Rick Wilson officiating. Interment was in Reidsville City Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were David Brazel, Stan Brazell, Christopher Brazel, Danny Brazell, Justin Stanfield, and Kevin Brazell.
Honorary pallbearers were members of the Reidsville Lions Club and members of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 7764.
Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home of Reidsville, Georgia, was in charge of the arrangements.
