"Mrs. Mary Owens died rather suddenly this morning at the home at Pontiac at the age of 69 years. The deceased was born in Wales but came to this country when a young woman and had resided in Clay county for many years. She is survived by six sons and five daughters as follows: Thomas, William, David, Richard, Benjamin, Sidney, Mary Lizzie, Anna, Jennie and Lillie Owens. The funeral will be announced tomorrow."
