David Otteni, of Kirkland, Washington, left us on October 15, 2009, following complications after an earlier aortic dissection.

Born and raised in Everett, WA; a gift to his Mom and Dad, Bill and Betty Otteni on November 3, 1954 and baby brother to sisters, Mary (Otteni) Ritland and Kathleen (Otteni) Goodhew.

He was a graduate of Cascade High School class of 1973. He was a loving father to John, Paul, Tiana, and Colleen; special friend to Gail Handrick and husband Eric; new grandfather to Nikola; lifelong friend to Richard; and a friend to many. As father, son, grandson, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend, he was the best.

He was gentle, loving, unique, genuine, fun, imaginative, talented and sincere.
David had many talents; writer, graphic artist, independent film producer. An occasional contributor to the small press fiction markets, a figure model enthusiast, composer and recording artist. He was active for many years in community theater, loved riding his motorcycle and his most favorite holiday was Halloween. He was employed for many years at VN Graphics in Redmond, WA and left behind a close group of team mates and friends.

David, you'll be forever in our hearts. Peace be with you as your sweet spirit takes you on your next adventure.

A brief graveside service will be at Evergreen Cemetery at 1:00, 4502 Broadway, Everett on October 24, followed by sharing and fellowship at 2:00 p.m., at Cascade View Presbyterian Church, 1030 E. Casino Rd. Everett, WA.
